Beth Murphy
Owner
Originally from Tupelo, MS, Coach Beth Murphy just transitioned from the Head Coach and Age Group Coach of the Woodstock Aquatic Center to the Lesson Director and Facility Manager for the Gold Swim School. She is also Co-Owner of Chattahoochee Gold with her husband, Pat. Coach Beth has coached and taught swim lessons for 25 years. Her aim is to help her swimmers to have true, long-lasting relationships with friends, family, and the sport of swimming.

Myka Murphy
Lesson Director
Myka was born and raised in the world of Chattahoochee Gold. She has a Masters in Vocal Performance from Juilliard and is pursuing Opera when she is not working on lessons. She is so proud to be a part of helping the community to be safe in the water. She is focused on making your experience the best it can be.

Kim Duncan
Financial Administrator and Front Desk
Kim Duncan has been an integral part of Chattahoochee Gold for years--following a career in corporate management at Toys R Us. She is from Marietta, GA, and has a BS in Marketing from the University of Georgia. She is a mother to 4 fabulous children and her eldest swam on Gold for 7 years. So, it is a family affair.

Jill Brinkman
Front Desk Associate
Jill has been a part of the Chattahoochee Gold swimming family. Her children swam with us and she runs swim meet admin for our swim team. We are so happy to have her join us as our front desk person in the afternoons and evenings.

Kyle Egelhoff
Front Desk Associate
Kyle is one of our newest hires— He has fallen in love with our program and decided to be a part of the Chattahoochee Gold Family as Front Desk and substitute instructor. We are so happy to have him.

Lauren Velasquez
Site Supervisor
Lauren is one of our site supervisors.Before this, she was our Lesson Director; but after having her baby she requested to just site supervise. She used to be a swim coach for Chattahoochee Gold; so she knows all all aspects of how to be a great swimmer! She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Gardner-Webb University, where she was named to the All-Conference Team all 4 years.

Stacy Thrasher
Site Supervisor
Stacy has been such a wonderful addition to our family here at the Gold Swim School. She has taught swimming over 40 years and is excited to make the step for this to her full-time focus. She is so excited to be an integral part to your children’s and family’s swimming journey.
