Lesson Policies & Safety

Safety & Lesson Expectations

Safety is at the core of everything we do.

First Day Expectations:

  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early to check the space and go to the restroom.

  • Bring swimsuit, towel, goggles, and a positive attitude!

  • Parents may observe from the designated viewing area.

Safety Week Programming:
Three times each in fall and spring, we host Safety Week — a vital program that teaches real-world water safety.
Students practice skills such as:

  • Entering and exiting safely

  • Yelling for help

  • Swimming in clothes over their suits
This empowers children to stay calm and make smart choices around water.

Parent Supervision:
Parents/guardians must remain on-site during lessons for children under 12.
Please avoid coaching from the deck to help swimmers focus on their instructor.

Communication & Progress

The Gold Standard in Communication

We believe that great communication builds trust and helps every swimmer succeed. Our team strives to keep you informed, supported, and connected — in and out of the pool.

How We Communicate:

  • You’ll receive updates about your lessons, closures, or special events via email or text.

  • If you text us, you’re automatically opted in to receive texts back — it’s a two-way system that allows us to quickly help with scheduling, questions, or urgent updates.

  • You can opt out of text messaging at any time by replying STOP.

Progress Tracking:
Our instructors update swimmer progress regularly and celebrate milestones along the way.
If you ever have a question about your child’s growth or next level, simply ask — we’re happy to review or recommend next steps.

Open Feedback Policy:
Gold Swim School is built on communication and care.
If something isn’t going smoothly or you feel frustrated, please let us know. We truly want to make it right.
Our promise is to provide a Gold Level Standard experience in every lesson — your feedback helps us uphold that commitment.
